Don't laugh but I love my Kramer Focus, i got this for 74.99 and i wish i had gotten a couple more. These are fast guitars and sound good. the 2001 models atleast. These compare to 3-400 dollar strats. You can't break these guitars.

I use a Kramer as a midi guitar... mind you, it has nothing to do with it being a good guitar, it's just that I didn't want to destroy the finish of my good guitars to install the midi pickup!

:D :D

I have a 1970's Kramer Bass. You know, the kind with the aluminum backed neck and the forked head stock. It weights about 20 lbs but it rocks. Let me just say...it sounds like it weights 20lbs...thick and in your face.

Oh, yeah. I had a 1981 Kramer bass with the aluminum neck, back in the day. Named it Kilgore (for Kilgore Bass, not that anybody here is likely to get that... but Billy Pilgrim would be amused). Was a wonderful axe, if you could get used to it going a half-step sharp as it warmed up (or if you could keep it an an 98degF room, it wasn't a problem. Unfortunately, I was in Boston). I miss it. Curly-maple body, and a neck that could be used as a lethal weapon. I once posted an article about getting the neck straightened on the site here- maybe if the search function ever comes back, you could find it. I just tried, and I can't.

Sustain for days, and a treble end that could drill holes in the back wall of any venue with light Rotosounds on it. Good thing I was a drummer at the time, eh? I'd still be in jail.

Not much character, but damned handy for self-defense... Kaman Aerospace (yes, the people who built the banana helicopter!), we _miss_ you. Come back, all is forgiven!

I know that if a riot ever breaks out during one of my bands shows, I'll be the last one standing!

Well skippy, I've even read "Venus on the half-shell"...
So I think I get it, and that's the Trout...
BTW, my Ibanez is called "Gloria road", kind of the same
type of joke. which author?
