Yeah I been drinkin, SO!?
I bought the korg floor tuner about a month ago -- no one here could give me advice on it, muct be a new product. I chose it because it has a better display than the boss and was $20 cheaper. I like it very much after using, but there's one problem: if I leave my guitar plugged into it, it keeps using battery. I have to unplug it after playing or my bettery's dead the next day. Does the Boss pedal have the same problem?

p.s. I know a strobe would be better, but I'm not redy to shell out for one just yet.

That's not really a "problem", it is just the on/off switch, basically. I would assume that the Boss has that too. Just unplug it like any other pedal, there's nothing wrong with it.

I didn't mean "problem" as in "defect," more like "problem" as in "pain in the ass." The only other pedal I've ever owned has a wall wart, a multieffect deal. So, you're saying this is something that happens with all battery-operated pedals?

Silly me, lesson learned. Consider me embarassed (and educated).

Don't be embarassed, it's an easy mistake to make. I left my active bass plugged in for about a week recently and was unpleasantly surprised at band practice to find it didn't work. Which is fine apart from having to unscrew the backplate to replace it!!!
