killing my room

Hi, Im on a cuest of making my home studio. I have studied a lot in this matter and still need a lot more to learn. One thing I am trying to do is to kill my room. A friend of mine told me to use fiberglass boards. It works pretty well for the hi and mids, but the room is not deat yet. When I play my guitar at a higher volume I can hear a low rumble. how can i get solve this problem?

Do a search on bass traps.

Or high-pass filters.

You need real bass traps - and I don't mean overpriced foam rubber. Have a look at my article from Electronic Musician. Go to my Articles page:
