Hi,

I have been using an old Roland D50 for years now and would like to use some more keyboards. I have only just started to get back into Home recording and am a bit out of touch with regards to keybaords and what ones are the best to use. Maybe there is a good sampling keyboard that also has normal preset banks as well. The sort of keyboard i am after is one with great piano sounds and also choirs and atmospheric sounds, like haunting sort of strings, that sort of thing.

Any ideas would be grateful,

Cheers

Well for great piano sounds you really can'y beat the yamahas. They have some of the best accoustic sounds around. for soundscapes Korg is what you really need. For orchestration Kurzeiler. So I guess what sound you crave the most is which model I would look at.

Thanks for the info. I will have a gander at your site.

All the best,
Paulc
