I'm conecting my keyboard aux out directly to the line level input on a powered mixer (sterio super HI Z) and am encountering the following problems:
1. Relitively low volume
2. Annoying hum
3. Hum gets much louder past one third volume on channel level control.
Before I start chopping out frequency, would inserting a good pre-amp in the line prior to the powered mixer help? Any suggestions? - sorry but I'm new to keyboards and was expecting the output to be pre-amped.
