Yes there have been other threads like this but when I looked at them I was all "qué"
Ok here’s the deal:
XP 1Ghz
Kawai KW40 (superold)
MIDI Gameport interface
SBlive 5.1
Cubasis VST 3
Bought the cable today got home plugged it in (hopes all up). The PC was on but i did not hear that familiar pling plong. So i thought silly me just gotten to used to USB. So I restarted the PC but no new hardware detected?
Maybe it supposed to be like that, it's not like i have any drivers on a disk or anyway else for that matter.
So I loaded up my Cubasis. Im new with this program so far I only used it for editing music. Anyways it was at this point I realised I had no clue what I should do next. I just marked a MIDI track and played a tune on my keyboard. I felt kind of silly. The PC speakers where dead quiet. The keyboard speakers on the other hand where not.
But what should I do next? Any settings? Hell I don’t even know how to record. The help section on the program was useless. So I wonder if anyone here can help me.
