I have a Yamaha PSR-E403 and recently one of the best drummers around my area contacted me and told me that his new band could use a keyboard player. I have only been playing for about a month but I wasn't going to turn down the offer because it's a great opportunity.

Anyways, I'm going to need a amp to play with them at practice and stuff and I have two questions.

Will the PSR-E403 be good enough to play with a band?

and

What is a cheap amplifier that I could buy to use at practice until I can get something good?

Awesome, So is 90 watts about what I need?

Thanks for the help.

Soundwise yes. But I doubt that in the long term the home-keyboard quality of the the keys will stand up to much gigging.

so Aidyn, how did the jamm go man...of course ya know if your band has a PA you can plug in there or did you buy an amp? This is over a week old, maybe an update? I've been looking at amps too, and am considering the Hartke KM200, its a couple hundred more than the Berry amp, but your keyboard will catch up to it also. Its amazing you have been playing for like a month and already getting band offers, cool.
