I think the point of all these fine folks is that you don't have to wade through all those pages.
 
OK if we start a new thread, many people will be left in the dark not knowing how this all works. I really don't care.
 
FWIW I've read every single page and I don't even a have high school diploma. Yes it took me awhile but it was worth the effort. I feel like I know Chance and many of the others who post in that thread. I also know something about the mics in the next group buy. It almost feels like a right of passage. Just my thoughts and thanks Chance for all you are doing.
 
My suggestion would be to let Chance run this shindig how he sees fit. It's working just fine the way it is. If that's how he wants it, leave the man be and partake of what he's doing for US!
 
why doesn't someone that follows this thread make a new thread letting everyone know there is a new group buy going each time there is a new buy going. You can refer everyone to this thread. It will be a little bit of work for any potential new customers to get caught up,but at least they would know what was going on this way.

Whoever does it just needs to make sure the beginning date and the ending date are in the title.

Also, someone needs to bump the new thread long enough to let any potential new buyers figure out what's going on.

I have been following the last 2 group buys and will be involved in the next.

forget it dude...this would be too difficult...

although I think it would catch the attention of more people....and more people means cheaper prices....
 
By my post count you can see I'm not a frequent poster around here - It doesn't take THAT long to read the whole thread. And yes, by reading the thread you learn more about what to expect so its very worth it.

I do agree that an indexing system would be good though.

I just realized that I said that we should start another thread referring people to this one. I meant start a thread referring people to the "official" group buy thread.

hahaha i agree! I read the whole thing too, only took about an hour or so
 
This poll is premature for those of us who are first time participants. How can I know what I'd like to see again if I haven't used any of these yet?

What might be more appropriate (and more fun) would be a poll of things we'd like to see made available via the GB. I'd love to see a stereo mic, a stereo bar, a two channel pre, a channel strip, LA2A clone ....did i mention the LA2A CLONE? :D:D:D

What new offerings would the rest of you like to see?

JTC111, This poll was for mics and pres in the current GB. The mics and pres that I'm having a hard time waiting for.
