I just recently aquired a set of JVC 900mhz Wireless headphones, and these things are one of the most usefull things I have gotten for my studio. I was recording a friends band, and the drummer used it, and just loved not having cords to deal with. The Vocalist was able to walk into the vocal booth without having to worry about running another cable. Since its wireless, I should be able to try run more than one pair off the same transmitter, negating the need for a distribution amp.

Yo BDGR:

I have had a pair of those JVC cans on order for over two months from Zzounds....seems like their made in Area 51.

I have another wireless set of cans, Koss, not great quality, but singers also like them as "no wires" equates to more physical freedom. Also, the Koss cans have a volume control so the singer/or band person can crank up as loud as needed and the engineer doesn't have to up the faders just to please the talent.

I'm looking forward to getting my JVC cans. By the way, where did you buy yours?

I just did a search on the internet for the parts number. HAW300RF , and found some place that had them for 65 bucks.(I dont remember where, just some consumer electronics store...When my wife get home, I will ask her). I like having the call button on the base, jvc makes a lower end one that doesnt have that. I think I will write JVC and see if I can purchase just the headphones, so I dont have to pay for another base, too.
