jv 1010

I got a problem.. Im trying to make a roland jv 1010 work in windows xp. So i got an xp midimate interface and connects the module, but when i select "USB audio device" and try to play back midi, nothing happens. When i start soundiver, the jv 1010 wont respond either. What am i doing wrong? Im such a noob on this, so help is desperatly needed, thanks!

What software do you use? You have to configure the midi channels in the software and map them to JV1010 patch.
