just want a opinion on the mic i bought...

i really didnt know much about condensor mics or LD mics
but i picked up this 250 dollar condensor from a local shop, they said it was a good mic but i really want some other imput if people think it sux then say it sux,just give me the facts...

That's the "square" condensor, right? I was looking at one of those myself. CAD makes some pretty good mics, man - try it out, that's what I suggest.

How does it sound? That should answer your question, and let us know how it sounds!
 
If you like that mic, take it back to the store you got it from and buy it from 8th street for $199, and that includes shipping.

well i really like how it sounds...
im not that much of a tech on mics
but it sounds full and true to life...
i did a recording with a friend
she sang a chorus for a track im putting together
and it sounds really beautiful..

so i guess i should should trust my ear
 
Did you do a search for posts on this mic? I know I've heard it discussed because before the Rode NT1, it was the affordable LD condensor for home reccers. I know Harvey Gerst, our Pope, has commented on them but I can't recall if it was here or at rec.audio.pro.

Still, what matters is if you like it.
