just the keys

so i have this really crappy keyboard that went crazy and only plays octaves of one note (its pretty old). i took apart everything, tossed the casing but kept everything else. is there any way i can buy a module that will allow the two 16-pin cables to connect to it and still produce sound (at a relatively cheap price)? if i can't, ill just buy a new keyboard.

Keyboards are really cheap these days...you can get them from free to whatever...$$$$

he's got a point, folks. however... this keyboard looks sweet out of the casing and just the keys as a standalone unit. and by sweet i mean totally awesome.
