Just Starting. Need some guidance.

I have a lexicon interface, it came with Cubase LE. I've used cubase to record real audio for a few years now, but i wanna get into sequencing, midi, and drum mapping. I might buy ableton live intro, but not sure how they all work together. Wide ended question i know
