Oh man, the DMP3 is SO not your problem. Right now you can't hear. Don't make any other gear decisions till you can hear. (get some monitors) ;)

Ya your track sounds just fine of my Wharfedale's. Don't do anything else till you get your monitors.

vocal sounds pretty damn good to me. perhaps you're just not used to what your voice actually sounds like. get monitors and treat your room and you should be set.

thanks guys Im keeping everything now. I mixed with some cheap-o $40 logetich 340s.

RIGHT!!!! So many people underestimate the mmonitors, they buy the other equipment first when it should be the other way around. Wait a minute, I did that!!! Hey live and learn.

dmp3 is what i'm keeping after messing with art v3, presonus tubre pre, and vtb1, and d1600 built-ins. corners are the worst of all.

there's one room in here i don't use, it has exactly what i hear w/ my digital delay on 300ms long delay and high feeback level, it's amazing....

Yeah dude, the vocals actually sound quite good (you have some talent there too, I was impressed)....get some monitors man!!! :)

I brought my cousin over to record his first 2 rap tracks. The mic and DMP3 captured his voice perfectly. No eq'ing needed. I take back what I said in my first post.

Yeah Im getting the Wharfedale's this week.
