I just bought the card, but none of my stuff will plug into it's input output slots...

Rundown of what i have...altec lansing speakers, the jack plug is 1/8, the size of a headphone jack

my mic is a apex430 condenser mic that i run through a art tube preamp (http://www.zzounds.com/a--2676837/item--ARTTMPOPL), and then i ran a guitar cable with a 1/4 size plug into my old soundcard (from the art tube preamp)...

but neither of the two will work now, so i have a good soundcard installed but no way of using it

HERE IS A LINK TO THE AUDIOPHILE SOUNDCARD SETUP
http://www.ragsmusic.com/audiophile.gif

those are the plugs that are too big or too small for the stuff i have...

I need someone to tell me if theres anything i can get based on my setup to make this work without having to go buy new speakers, and some really expensive wire to run from my preamp to my soundcard....

If you could post a link to the exact item your recommending so i can see it and know exactly what to look for i'd REALLY appreciate it, i'd like to go buy it tomorrow if i can get some answers...

I'm not willing to buy new speakers right now, i'm looking for adapters hopefully or maybe a new cable if necessary, right now i can't even listen to music or watch movies on here, so i'd especially like to get my speakers connected

You need a Stereo 1/8" to RCA Y-Splitter. Any Radio Shack will have it. For the Mic, you'll need a 1/4" to RCA converter which can also be found at Radio Shack.

go to musiciansfriend.com and search for "mogami"

they carry RCA to 1/4" cables. they're like 16 bucks each though... but good quality

to use your speaker jack you`ll need an adapter that is

1/8" stereo-female on one end
and two RCA -male on the other.

plug your speaker jack into the female adapter. Plug the 2 ends of the adapter into your sound card outputs.
