Just a Quick Recording

I was in the mood to sing this song after I got home from work, took six takes, this was the last one. Forgive the room noise, computer fan, TV, kids, etc., and the POP at the beginning.

It is a Gordon Lightfoot tune:

Great work Rick! This gave me the peacefulness I needed to start off the weekend right. You've really captured the feeling of the song well. Other than the pop at the beginning which you can just cut off, I didn't hear any problem with floor noise. Kids, tv, etc..., there's no place like home

Hey Rick, I have the same issues with noise sometimes, I somehow manage to get a fairly good take

Not getting any noise on my PC Speakers. Just the pop!

Nice playing and singing on this Lightfoot tune. Both sound nice and clean, clear and balanced.

Thanks everyone! I still am looking for a different flavor preamp. I am not satisfied with the thinness of sound the AD2022 gives me. I don't know, it sounds perfectly fine through my Deadalus speakers ($2,500 dollar speakers), but lacks the huge full presence that I hear in other recordings on various forums. It is not HUGE enough.
