Anyone own and/or use the Josephson C-42? What do you think of it? I've read that some people compare it to the older Neumann KM84. Agree or disagree?
I've heard recordings with the KM84 and really liked the sound on mandolin and acoustic guitar. I'm wondering if the C-42 would be a good, more available alternative.

Thanks,
Terry

We just opened with as their 4th dealer. It was a no brainer considering David's reputation and build quality of the rest of his line. From what I understand they are an "airier" version of the KM84 (David's words). I should be able to do a thorough evaluation as soon as the first round of stock comes in.

Nathan,

Looking forward to your review...any idea when the first shipment will show up? When I hear an "airier" version of the KM84, I wonder if it's closer to the KM184.
Please keep us posted!

Wednesday-ish.

Considering it's from David Josephson, I'm expecting it to be better. He doesn't cut corners.

Please keep us posted!

Most definitely, thanks for the interest!
