John, Others: Recording Booth....

Hi guys,

Dad and I want to use John's wall units to construct a sound booth. Using that design we came up with the following attachment. The back "wall would be two pieces, one being a door.

Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.

What would you do for the ceiling?

Joe, by sound booth do you mean a vocal booth-or are you making this as a control/ mixing room?

If you have any height to work with at all, I'd make the ceiling pitched- even in any random way, it would help reduce the "squareness" of this room

I was thinking a vocal room. The "booth" would sit inside of a larger room that has an 8' ceiling. Thats a great idea.
