Thanks to all for helpful info. My lesson has been learned. Guess work when dealing w/ adaptors is foolish. I don't think the unit was damaged when I returned it last week, but it certainly wasn't working to potential either. Since the 30 days wasn't up, and since it was MARS' fault anyway because they didn't supply me w/ the correct adaptor in the first place, I took it back and have already received a brand new one from MUS. FRIEND. Truth is, I did try electronic stores where I lived first, but no one seemed to have the right adaptor, and I'm an hour from Mars (the store) so it took awhile to get it taken care of. But the new one is installed and ready to roll. Thanks again all for the tips!!
