Admitedly this bloke has some talent, serious talent, but in a punch up, I'd edge it ;)

Well Mr Garcia, I made multiple comments on your music, how about you return the favour?
 
I gave her a listen and I would have to agree with the others. The low end seems a little muddy. I like the vocal. I would like to hear it with drums to really get a feel for it.
How can you record without a drum backing? That would drive me crazy.


Oh and by the way, I know what you mean by getting views and no comments. I wanted some of the guys here to give me some input on my latest effort and so far only Mr Harris, who by the way has a very talented kid has responded. I thought the idea was to help each other get better at recording.
Oh well such is life. I won't bug anyone. I'll post, and if someone wants to comment that's cool. If not I won't bump.

I respect what you are doing ... Suprised? As far as the sound quality goes, I would agree with what the others have said ...

That's cool. If I did anything to piss anyone off I would rather be told so I can make it right but if the guy just wants to bust my balls, F him.
 
Bazzlad you might try running a high pass filter on some or all of the guitars. What I'm hearing is the low end of the instruments battling each other and creating this rumbley mush under everything.

Cheers, I think I get it, everything's too mushy in the low end, I'll have a play with it and see what I can come up with.

Jessie, I'm not suprised you liked it, infact I'm sure you loved it. BUT I am gutted you removed your original song from your purevolume site, you know the one which had lyrics like:
"one thing into another, we will become sister and brother"
That song always brings a smile ;)

sounds like the charlatans 'one to another' - 'one to another,sister and her brother' hmmm so even the lyrics were ripped lol good to see ya posting thoughts about other peoples songs tho jesse, its about time you werent all about you.

anyway, back to the point of this thread...

i like it so far, but as always, i think (to almost repeat a previous comment) that its hard to comment on a full sound until its all there. try laying the drum track down first, then moving from there. id love to hear the guitars come up a bit.
 
For what its worth,I would start with the drums and build the song around and established groove. :) :(
