JBL control 1 plus?

I am upgrading my studio, our first album came out very nicely. we recorded from an 8 track mixer to a 2 channel recorder. It came out sounding good, very raw. But it was impossible to fix mistakes or change the mix. I am planning on getting a tascam us-1641 so my band can keep recording live. I own a pair of JBL control 1 plus speakers and I was wondering if they would be good for mixing and I really cant afford to buy a pair. also what about Tannoy PBM 6.5 speakers?

Dunno about Tannoy, but control plus sounds good
If you will not use it, or buy something more powerful, i will buy it for good price!!
