Gotta loosen that drummer up a little, he's p[retty tightly wound with that swing quantization... :) He plays cymbals like a rocker too; or maybe, he's playing a rock-sounding kit, I suppose.

:) Being that my drummer is me and my mouse and a whole bunch of clicking around... I will try to loosen myself up a bit, hahahaha.
I know what you mean, I am going to have to learn how to inject a little more feel and restraint into my programming to make this sort of thing convincing.

I really appreciate the comments.

Very cool stuff. Sounds very nice. I think the bass sounds good and your playing. I always wanted a fretless but it's a bit low on the list.
I think the bass could drop down a bit into the mix by one of two ways. Eq or volume. Personaly for this typw of song (and considering you have no frets to buz) you may try thining it out a hair.

Just a thought. Nothing jumps out that needs to be fixed to me but that's the only nit I could come up with.

I enjoyed listening.

F.S.

PS I did a love song for my wife a while ago so don't feel bad about the jazz thing :D

I was having fun with you. :) I don't know how that program works, but in my drum computer, I can alter quantization, swing amount, etc. If it swings, I usually play it live, but there are a lot of ways to humanize a computed drum line... :)
