IM a jay z fan but damn kinda dissapointed i knew he took a few of these but damn theres alot of shit hes ripped. :(

wow I didnt realize that I know I have tooka few lines so I cant really diss the cat but man that's alot of lines haha. Some of them famous ones. Yo u know what's funny though. I was listening and my wife goes could you get me copies of those songs l remeber those i really like them. I was like which ones? She was like the Jay-z songs...the one with the words he copied :eek:
 
i always looked at it like he was just doin a dedication, i mean some of the lines he uses are memerable lines, and if u dont catch it right away, then u haven't been listening to hiphop that long, or just havent been passionate about it enough... then again that file is what 6 minutes long? and between the takes you got that sample being thrown in there to make the file longer.

but yea i was surprised he did use so much, but i aint trippin. i still think its a dedication thang.

i really dont care..if you think about it every rapper has done it b4 at one time..its just jay did it alot.. :8 but it still doesnt take anything from his work..and this is coming from someone thats not a big Jay Z fan..but only he really know what he was doin when he used all those lines..he can sugar coat it all he wants..
 
Yea, I dont think its a big deal. He's just doing it as a dedication.
 
i agree, it's not a big deal

it's not like jay z needed those rhymes to make his songs sell. to me, the lines that he snatch from other sources do not outshine his original work. ;)
 
who cares about that shit...some nas fan made that just to create some controversy...hes still one of the best of all time period...anybody who argues that hasnt listened to all the material he ever put out.
 
I guess I will throw my 2 cent in, I mean this is a dope topic especially with the track to boucne my thoughts off. Yall really did cover ever thing I would say but the fact remains Jigga is dope with or with out the bite. He does it on purpose for his own beliefs. we all still have the right to choose whether you like or not but that won't change the fact that he is one of the most succesful in the game doing it. ( I feel homies wife about those songs I need to go back to the crates.. lol )
