Jamfest is a trek I look forward to all year...
I bring it up in conversations with other musicians ,
I talk about the people, and how far they travel ....
I mention the victuals...
and the other refreshments.....

I also spend at least a moment with each attendee.....
so I can remember how it all feels...
and take a mental photo of faces there
who trusted enough to come...
and to make eye contact with strangers..
all ending as friends...
a band
sound bytes from another level
saved the spirit
for later re-juvinating, and tears.....
See everyone very soon.....

On a related note, I just got un-packed after a gig at The Broadway Hotel in N.Tonawanda!!
It was one of those nights where even the mistakes sound intentional!!
The bar was fucking PACKED!!
This is my regular hangout, my place where I go the have a kick-ass fish fry on fridays and party like a king on Saturdays. We were getting applause after every song we did and I never see that at the broadway! We were the best we ever been tonight! I'm really proud of the band. We rocked!
The manager wants us again and gave us the 1st available opening on April 8th!
I better ask for more $$$ next time!!
I recorded the whole thing on my minidisc recorder. I'll post something in a few days in the mixing clinic!
