James Brown Cold Sweat Cover feedback please!

Recorded using project mix I/O into cubase 4.
Drums were miced as follows:

Kick: audix d6
Snare: audix i5
OH's: KSM 27's

Guitar: MD421
Bass: DI
Vocals: KSM 27

Please give me some feedback!

It sounds really good. The recording and the playing are both great. The one thing I would work on is the kick drum sound. It doesn't have a lot of definition. Also at the very end I can hear a metronome or something.

Sounds really good to me. Cool guitar solo. You should check out Mongo Santamaria's version sometime. I can hear how a good horn section could punch this up even more, but given the basic bass-drums-guitar instrumentation I think this stands on its own.

Take a big scoop out of the kick around 300-500. You can boost the kick around 4k to get some attack.
