It has been superseded with the P series connectors. NP2X for TS, NP3X for TRS. $3.55 a pop on Amazon.

I like their silent plugs for guitar cords.

Not sure what they're talking about with the thinner shell - hope it's not harder to arrange the wires to solder.

They original was thicker and chunkier that's all. They seem equally easy to terminate, but just lighter and thinner. I have not broken any yet?
