Ive been sleeping on the SM57

Went through a series of mics the other night trying to get a nice clean sound. Just couldnt get one. So I went out to our Bass player's big white truck ( He does Live sound),,, pulled out a beat up ass SM57 and walla.

I just thought about you guys in here and laughed to myself.

I have 2 myself but never used them. I let these kids hold them to record,,, Today I will repo them back.

AS bad as the one I used last night looked and still sounds good,, then mine should still be good to go.

Uncomfortable? Bwa.... It's all relative. I can think of stuff you can do with it that's WAY more uncomfortable...
