Wow, I haven't been on this joint in a long time. I have been busy with work and I haven't had a chance to do ANY recording or ANYTHING...

So the other day my friend was like.. "DUDE! We needs to do a track... a fight track..."

So, I said.. Aight

But, listening to all the tracks bein' posted up here everyone STILL hot as fire and aint calmin' down so I'm scared to compete!

But, I need the advice anyway, so I'm gonna post it up and hopefully some of the ol' fam will help a brother out on this one.

Beat and Lyrics, not so much the lyrics, because it's not meant to really mean anything, it's just meant to be vulgar and for fun, so that's why there's the F word like every phrase, ignore that. What I'm looking for ideas on, is how to change things up and make it more hoppin'

Cus it just seems "blah" right now.. which would probably be due to my delivery and flow, but ya'll need to let me know!

hmm.........a lot of repetition, need a change up in there maybe to go to a section where the bass just plays use a crash to change into it or a snare roll then add the guitar/synth in 2 beats later? idk experiment with it, sounds good so far, lyrics are louder than the beat in a ovepowering way. this beat has potential tho get to work son, but i gotta go tho before cell finds me in here when i should be working on our track

I agree with DE that the lyrics mixed in are overpowering. The bass is kind of muddy too so it messes it up a little bit. Too short to say anything about change ups or what not. Have to peep it some more.

Cool. Glad to hear some feedback. I'm not sure how to do the mixing of Vocals into the beat, honestly, I threw the beat into Audacity, recorded my vocals and left it at that. I don't know anything beyond that.

As for the beat goes, I know it needs more work, I added a bassboost on the bass and it sounded nice in my headphones, then I exported it out and it distorted. So, I'm gonna have to drop that boost a bit.

I have an idea for change-ups in the beat itself, but what do ya'll think I should do for different effects on the vocals and how does one record it better so it's not so loud, other than backing off the mic. Because when I back off the mic, you can't hear any word I say, you hear me rappin' but you can't distinguish what words are being said.
