Hi all. i am hoping you guys can help me with my problem. I have connected the mic to the m box but i am getting very little signal and a whole lot of feedback in my monitors.
I am trying to use my SM58 with Cubase 5 using the MBOX2 mini , I am connecting the mic using a xlr to jack and plugging it into the line/dl and pressing in the mic/dl switch. I have a audio track with the input and outputs set to stereo in/stereo out and the track is in monitor mode. I am using the ASIO Digidesign driver as usual and there is never any issues when using my monitors.
I personally think that i have done everything correctly in order to get a good signal for recording. the only other answers i can think of a are, A) faulty cable/try XLR to XLR or B) faulty microphone.
If anybody has any ideas then please help as i am getting frustrated with trying to get this to work
Thank you all.
Peter
