So, I thought I'd crank somethin' out. It's just a Demo, I gotta get vocals on it before it's done. But, a buddy of mine are gonna go in the studio and put somethin' together.

I haven't been on here in a while, because I've been doing College, workin', and relaxing. Haha.

I've made some progress, I've sold a couple beats locally. I'll show you guys the outcome after the songs are finished (The Album is in the works, later this year)

His name is Stylz.

Anyways, here's the link to the new beat I'm crankin' out and gonna throw some vocals on. Thought I'd see what ya'll think. Not that it is a huge issue, because I think it's hot.

Mind you, don't bother listening to it if you don't have a subwoofer. That's the main key to the beat.

Cant judge your creativity...

but honestly you dont wanna stay put you should
always wanna escalate your game to the next level...

a few things I think you need to work on mixing(has gotten a HELLL of alot better
tho) and your humanizations(for example that double kick sounds like its very cpu generated)

Hey Re, how u doin.. its been a while. yea.. on dat beat, i think it sounds a bit software-ish. The basic drumbeats sounds like straight and in-the-box..(i listened to it at the office computer so..cant be precise) apart from the humanizing as noddy said, u do have a clear idea of ur beats and patterns but it d be great if u get ur OWN way of how to put it down..ya know.. so yea..keep it goin u got it in you ..just gotta add more spice ..nice work overall and its great to hear dat u ve already started to sell ur stuff.
 
Thanks to both of you for the replies. I'll add some stuff to it to spice it up, I know what you're talking about. I have troubles editing the sounds so they don't sound so "computerized" but I'm going to add some more stuff, as I said it's just a demo.. It's still in progression.

I'll upload the newest when I get it done.

Well, I got a kickass idea in my head and had to throw it partially down before I forgot. I think it'll turn out pretty sweet. I think I may do a humorous song for this first beat.



And updated the other one.



I'm not sure that I like that really high pitched part, but I'll work the qwerks out.
Hopefully I'll find some time to finish the rest of the stuff, but I thought I"d update you all.

Give me any input, it'll help me out.
I noticed when I was making a couple beats for some local artists that it's easier to MAKE beat when someone tells me what they want on it, versus using my own ingenuity to try and work somethin' out.

I really don't know about your choice of instrument for this, no synths? IMO those instruments sound a lil "dry", but keep on pushin it mayne....
 
im checkin the first joint out on teh cpu - i feel u on the need for subwoofer, but from what i hear, this joint is bangin, u chose real good instruments and the melody is HOT2DEF!
