Is This Song Worth Finishing?

I was just playing around on the guitar today and came up with a framework for a song. So I half-heartedly threw some lyrics together and recorded it. My process for this was rather desultory. I don't know. Here's the lyrics I have for it right now. I'd read them first because I didn't really pay attention to my enunciation on this one(sorry...my diction is pretty poor here):
I'm top to bottom,
Feeling like I'm going places that I'm not.

They're calling me somewhere,
To all these places that I forgot.

If I make them a monster,
Then I make a monster of myself.

I love the overall sound. I think you have a framework for a good song...but honestly I'd start over with the lyrics. They don't make sense to me. Currently they sound like an excuse to sing the melody.
Then again, I think I take lyrics more seriously than most on here...I usually start with the lyrics first. You can have a great song with subpar lyrics, but why aim for that?
Anyways, I think it's worth pursuing this one.
