I sequence on the mpc and i control with the trinity. When i pan a sound to one side on the trinity all of the sounds on My Jv (on a totaly different midi channel) are like that. What's the problem??

I don't use the gear you reference, but the only thing I can think of is that the Trinity is sending a MIDI pan signal - so when you pan on the Trinity, you send a pan to the JV unit.

Some things to check - is the Trinity in Omni mode vs Multi mode? What MIDI channel is the Trinity sending on - and what channel in the JV receiving on? Is the MIDI send for pan on or off on the Trinity?

Turn off the send command on the Trinity (whatever parameter controls panning controls), reset the pan of the JV and then pan the Trinity. If the JV doesn't follow the panning of the Trinity you have then identified which MIDI signal you need to keep off.

Good luck.
