is there any PCI card

is there any PCI card that has 8 ins? i cannot find one, and hopefully at least L&R out.
 
aardvark q10.... pci host card... to a breakout box with 8 pres... 4 with phantom power... its what i have. the company just went out of business or something like that so theres no support but the units are going for pretty cheap now on ebay.
 
Motu 2408 would do it too. Aardvark Q10's got 8 ins with pre's, but Aardvark's gone under, so they're mostly only available used, and you wouldn't have any support as the company's not around.... but they can be had for just a few hundred off ebay.

It was my top choice in a future upgrade a while back, but since the company went out of business, as well as my wants in a system have changed a bit, I've been fixin on going for a Motu 828 (firewire) when I get the money.
 
i dont need pres and im looking for all 1/4 inputs... thank you for all of the reviews ill check some of those out now
 
would 2 Delta 44's work properley .... cause i was thinking about that a while ago


ps. what kind of software would you use with those...or does it not matter
 
oh yeah.... and if i were to get those should i use those outputs for monitors... or are they stereo

ya know thats a good question :D sorry if it makes you mad... i dont know why it would... but hey there are some crazy people out there
 
Delta 1010 -
Has 8 analog (line-level) ins/outs and s/pdif I/O. Each analog in/out is mono, so you would plug Outs 1/2 into your monitors.
I have had the Delta 44 (just 4 analog I/Os) since 2000 and has worked flawlessly for me.
