Is sound forge any good?

I have SoundForge5 and like it a lot. Pretty powerful and easy to learn and use. If you get it, pick up the noise reduction plugs too. Very cool.
 
I like the Graphic Interface in SF better than anything I've seen.

And Sound Forge 6.0 (demo) seems to render stuff a lot faster than the the version I own which is XP 4.5.
 
Sound Forge is a great prog. I never really liked the stock effects though. I think the newer 5.0, 6.0 comes with their better stuff, like acoustic mirror et. all -

I liked Wavelab's effects better, but like my experience with most Steinberg stuff, it was a bit buggy at times.
 
I love Soundforge 5.0, especially since it only cost me $99 when I upgraded from XP--which I got for free (rebates) in the first place.
 
I'm using SF 5.0, love it. Also comes with a nice pack of DX plug-ins.
 
Ok now let me see if I can figger this shit out...BRB with analysis...
