is it ok to hang my Rode NTK upside down???

hey guys,

I'm setting up my Rode NTK to record vocals and either my pop filter or myself (or both) is retarted and I can't seem to get the Pop Filter is a good position with the NTK set up straight. Is it totally fine to hang the NTK upside down (then allowing the pop filter to be effective) or not? am I doing something wrong?

please help... I feel like bashing the Microphone over my head :s

Yes. In fact is it often preferable to hang tube mics upside down. That way, the heat from the tube won't damage the capsule. This is usually not a problem for newer tube mics, like the NTK, but it mostly pertains to older models.
