Fusion, your comment was in regards to my last one? I'm a bit puzzled about US vendors not wanting to ship to Canada, because:
* They get paid in US dollars;
* The buyer pays shipping;
* The only *extra work* is filling out a small customs form, saying what's in the box and its value. Then, off it goes.
This is not a big deal, and I think most vendors are unaware of it.
