I just bought a new motherboard ( gigabyte k8nsc- 4000 athlon xp ) the digi001 works as a audio card. When I want to use protools it reboots. Is there a way around it. Need Help. Thanks

Its windows xp pro with sp2. It has 2gb of ram. Its a single core w/ dual memory.

XP SP2 is not compatible with your current version of Pro Tools....
go here: http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?navid=54&itemid=4959 and make sure you have the latest updates for your software (6.4cs9)
Then if you are still having a problem go here: http://archive.digidesign.com/compato/xp/001/ and read the top. Then follow the directions of what it tells you to download.

If I install sp1 on my computer will it conflict with sp2. Or do I have to format the drive again. And install windows with sp1?
