I keep logging on here and think I need to ask more questions, but it's pretty much all here. Did you know you can scroll down on the main forum page and find a section on equipment and even manufacturers!? Amazing. I had a question about Cubase- already covered. I had a question about my drums...done. I just keep reading and reading until I can't take any more information. I should think the learning curve for home recording would be relatively short if a guy is willing to read. I went from not knowing what to buy to confidently laying down tracks like the pros (sorta) in about a week. It won't be long now before I'm ready to mix. I'm sincerely excited.

The only thing holding me back now is my own creativity, but the ability for me to make a quality recording of whatever I want when the mood strikes, and to manipulate it in just about any way I want is priceless. I should have learned to do this years ago.

Dunno- someone didn't like me in green, I guess. I've been good. I know the rep thing is a big game, so I'm trying not to take it personally. Still lovin' this place all the same, though!

Unfortunately there are a couple of misanthropes about that neg rep because they can't stand seeing anyone well spoken of.
