Would you consider it modern or classic as it exists right now?
Whichever you consider it to be currently, by all means, sure. Throw up a different version.

HEY RFR,
well, the version now, is kinda inbetween the two..

when you listen to the original, it has some hard LCR panning schemes, and some nice reverb that gets thrown on opposite sides..

plus the eq of the whole thing, just sounds round and smooth and very early 70's.....


so, it's kinda one of those things where you either just mix it to what sounds good to you now,
or try to re-create the vibe of the original mix.

that's what i'm wondering about, how people feel about it...

I dont know where it is (the original) but I remember liking that one quite a bit.
Maybe post both in this thread so people can compare?

Great version. I didn't recognise it at first and then I heard the Jon Lord keyboard. Vocals are really well done. I'd go for a more modern mix as you've already got the performances and sounds nailed
