Ok, I was wondering if anyone here has ever purchased equipment/gear internationally. For example, ordering American products such as a Tascam 4 track or a Zoom drum machine but using them in the U.K. I know there's the plug adaptor issue but what about voltage conversion, or does that matter??? Anyone from the U.K. ever order stuff from the U.S.A. and can help me with this, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!!!

I bought all my gear in the US, but I bring it to lots of different countries to work on albums. You will need to get something called a transformer, which will convert your local AC to what ever gear you have. You need to get one for the specific conversion you are trying to do. Any local electronics shop could help you out with this.

Good Deal!!!!

Thanks Ronan, sounds easy enough to me!!! :)

You are in Texas now, but heading to the UK?

Look up Mark7, he's a big TASCAM fan in Leceister or however you spell that.
