Hi all
I'm trying to interface a shure57 mic which is on a guitar amp to a edirol ua-1ex and i'm a bit lost.
I have a xlr to 1/4" converter then a 1/4" to 1/8" and 1/4" to rca.
Now i'm not sure if i can plug into the mic input which it says is for "Microphone input port for plug-in powered electret condenser type (stereo)" or to the rca line in connectors.
I'm guessing i cant plug into the mic input because the shure is a dynamic mic and not powered. So it's the rca then, but i don't get any signal when i try this.
Can any one help?
Thank
Matt
