Sounds really nice. I like the piece and the recording sounds really clean. I thought I detected a bad edit at 3:35 in the guitar track, but maybe the guitarist just came in a fraction of second late. Good job.

the mix is great, the drums sound really good, and i love the bass guitar! nice organic guitar tone also--kinda reminiscent of don caballero.

my only nit comes in at 3:03 and seems to plague the mix from then on. it's some sort of popping artifact which seems to coincide with some of the kick hits. perhaps a compression issue? did you change settings at that point?

overall, great sound. i'm truly impressed. did you do sound replacement on the snare by any chance? it sounds very consistent, clean, and punchy. nice job. :)

Sounds pretty good, but is that guitar out of tune a little? Something doesn't sound right to me with it. Maybe an intonation problem. The overheads are a little bright and/or loud. They could be tamed some. I hear the weirdness with the drum hits when the song gets rolling. Are you using gates maybe? Maybe it's a compression thing? I can't pinpoint what it is.

i noticed the guitar tuning thing too, but it seems kinda phasey, so i chalked it up to a bit of chorus effect being used, and therefore intentional. i didn't think it really detracted from the sound enough to mention.

Thanks for the kind words. I used Drumagog on the snare and added a blend of this Maple snare sample I had. The popping noise you hear comes from the bassist's fret buzz. I have not found a way to tame this so if any of you could point me in the right direction that would be great.

The issue with the drum hits were the gates and I fixed it by allowing a longer release. Thanks for the feedback. The issue with the guitar is that the guitarist tends to bend his chords which makes it difficult to double track his guitars because he never bends them the same way. As for the overheads, do you think they should be compressed more or are the high frequencies a little too prominent?

High frequencies are a little too prominent and the tracks may be too loud. Don't compress, just drop em down some first and see if it takes the edge off.

not sure you can correct the buzz with your current tracking. check this website for fixing it at the source:
