It took me a while to discover the trick to Sketchup. Once you understand a few things...its a breeze. Maybe in a week or two I'll post a small tutorial on basics. Even Sketchups tutorials can be confusing. One of the things that makes it MUCH easier is using decimal numbers for fractions of inches. Here is what I mean.It takes me an hour just to draw up a floor and a wall.

First off, do you have your "measurment" tool window open? If not, look at the tool bar under "View"-Toolbars-measurement, and click on measurement to open it. It will be a little window down at the bottom of the drawing area.How do I set the size by typing in the dimensions instead of trying to drag it to the exact size I want?
