Inputs Showing as Inactive (Firepod + Cubase 4)

Hi everyone! I've been using SX3 for the longest time and everything was fine. Just upgraded to 4 and everything seemed to be installed properly.

I went to Device--> Device Setup--> and for VST audio system selected Firepod ASIO. Went to VST connections and set my inputs to 8 mono in. On the right hand side it says all inputs are inactive under the "state" column. The blue light is on, all connections are good. So I'm assuming it's a setting which I don't know about.

I tried recording anyways and it's not reading it.

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Alright so I just happened to stumble across the answer on my own. I'll post here so if anyone else has the same problem they know what to do.

Under VST Connections/ Inputs Tab....theres a column called ports. I found I just had to simply click on the highlighted part of every input to activate it.

Works great now!
 
Yeah there is a big difference in how I/O is handled when they went from the SX series to 4,5, and 6.
