Hello I am having a problem with cubase sx 2 (and other recording apps) running under Windows XP with a Delta 1010LT audio interface. PC is pretty basic: XP pro, 2 ghz processor, 512 mb ram, etc.
I have a Boss DR-770 plugged right in to the Delta 1010LT. I can run a drum loop and monitor it through my BX5's just fine. The problem is when I arm the track for recording in cubase and other recording software, the input level is very low. It does register some input at least, but when I play it back through my monitor pair I can bearly hear it. I've tried adjusting the Delta 1010LT input levels to no avail. The Delta mixer software interface is registering plenty of input (happens to be input 5/6).
I have an old yamaha DX7 that does the exact same thing. Input levels are just so low in cubase that it is not recordable.
On another input I am running a little mic that I'm using to record a guitar. It works beautifully in cubase. What could be going on here? Thanks much for any advice.
