Input Echo Delay In Sonar X2 Producer

When I enable the "Input Echo" for real time playback, it has a delay. I have done research on it and everyone is saying it may be latency or buffer or something but doesn't say exactly how to fix it or the setting to fix this issue.. Please Help.

In 8' it is 'Options, Audio, General you can see the setting there. My previous card I set it there too. Now with the RayDat I adjust it in the RME tool bar, so I guess it varies.

Would changing to latency/buffer settings be the same for X2 Producer?

Preferences > Audio Drivers

Then you should see a slider that allows you to pick your latency. This is only available if you are using Sonar to configure latency though. If you are using the drivers for your hardware (i.e. presonus firestudio) the latency/buffer will be configured there.
