Inherited a lot of classic home-musician gear I know zero about being an engineer.

let's talk about famous dave..
that always moves things along..........

Actually: I'm going to go all Cliff Clavin on you again because I happen to know this one.
A gathering of crows is indeed known as a "Murder" of crows and for good reason.
You see it's no accident that you cannot tell one crow from another.
Any crow which differs in any way from the rest, will in fact, eventually be ganged up on and murdered by the other crows.
You will on occasion see albino crows and the odd one with a single white feather.
Sooner or later, the group will destroy them.
Hence the name.

That's why a raven can never sneak into a gathering of crows. You see, the feathers on the trailing edge of the wing are called pinion feathers. And ravens have one more than crows do. So knowing the difference between a raven and a crow is just a matter of a pinion.

LOL..we know it's a murder. I was just joking cos he said a group of black birds are a murder of crows.

Loving the Cliff Clavin comparison though;

wasn't he always full of shit though???:p :p

seriously........textbook.

otherwise you will have a chaotic feeding frenzy and a bunch of folks who will end up feeling like they got the shaft.

I read fours pages of crap about crows only to find out there's no list. I already feel like I got the shaft!

Diggy Your back! how have you been?

Just peachy, Henry. Other than getting PWN3D left and right by income taxes, medical bills, and traffic fines, that is. :laughings:

The home recording end of things is in limbo for a while. My roommate started bitching about the noise while I was learning to program my drum machine. I guess he didn't understand what I meant about using the room as a studio. So now I'm basically paying rent on the room just to have a place to store my gear until I move. It's about useless for recording anyway. The wiring in this old house sucks, and it's hot as an oven in there without the window unit constantly running.

So how are things with you?
