Industrial song in the works... What can I do with it?

Hi. I am recording a song called American Idol and I'm almost ready to add the vocals. But, before I do that, I thought I'd ask if there was anything wrong with the rest of the song.

I have posted a clip of it that features the intro, chorus and verse.

Is there anything I could do differently to make it sound better?

I listened to Dead Nation ( I can't find American Idol). Sorry my friend but it has big recording problems. No offence but it sounds like it was tracked with a boom box. How are you recording?

And to answer Track Rat's question... I recorded that song with computer. I know its REALLY... not good... But it was the first song I attempted to record using a computer. The program I was using didn't help either... It was n-track! But, I can assure you that American Idol is much better sounding and I used a way better program... Cool Edit Pro 2.0!

So... No offense taken... It was a first attempt and it sucked... Who cares. Maybe I'll record it again in the future.

Still need some feedback...

Okay... when I first posted this topic, the link to the .mp3 didn't work and people just listened and gave feedback about some of the other .mp3's that I had previously put up. That would have been really helpful if those were the reason I was posting! I posted again and stated that I have fixed the problem and still... NOTHING! Now... Just kinda bumping my topic and hoping someone will give feedback. And by the way, I have since added more to American Idol and it does sound a whole lot better than what is on my web site. Please be honest when you reply and don't be afraid to criticize.
