Hi. I have posted 3 of my songs on my site: http://joshzero.com

I would love to hear comments/suggestions on the first song "Queens" or any of the other tunes if you have time.

I recorded them all in Cubase using the following equipment:
Shure SM57, Machie 1202 VLZ Pro, Gadletlabs Wave 8/24. I programmed the drums using the LM4 in Cubase.

Thanks!

Tried to download your song but ran out of patience. Where is this hosted? Seems like I'm getting the approximate throughput of ISDN.

It's hosted out of my house with 128k upload speed. I've tested downloading from different locations and the speed seems to be decent. Please try it again. Thanks.

Hey man, I downloaded "Queens" yesterday. Cool song!! Really solid indie rock. I like it. :)

Overall, I liked the sound and the production, very indie-sounding (in the good way), like old Dinosaur Jr or Metal Flake Mother records or something. I did think that there were sone harsh frquencies on the vocal tracks-- some EQ or a de-esser might help. On headphones the drums sound a little "bigger" than everything else, but not so much on my computer speakers. Are the guitars in mono? The mix is pretty clean, everything comes through. Did you use any revrb? Everything is very "in your face".

Nice song. Good job!

pretty cool. limit the snare/tom, it is much too loud and poppy. Otherwise really cool.

I liked them, lots.

Very indie, very groovy, good sound. I actually thought techno fair was the most enjoyable. Nice wee website too, later....

I finally summoned the patience to download Queens. I like this much. The drums sound really good to me. They are well "stereo'd". I think your voice is perfect for the "indie rock" style.

I mostly enjoyed Techno Fair cause it's very original so I'll comment on that. I think it would sound better if the acoustic guitar was more prominent than the electric. I would also pick up the tempo and tighten up the drummer and bass player just a bit.

Your website is also cool. I like the colors and style and what's really cool is you just have music there. No extra stuff that I don't want to read :).

For guys like me who have access to really fast bandwidth (don't tell my employer) I think you might be well served by finding a host that can deliver more quickly. Check out nowhereradio.

I look forward to more. Later.
