Hello there.
I have an EMU 0404 PCI sound card that has two 1/4" ins and two 1/4" outs. I run the outs to a channel on my four channel mixer. It might even be this mixer shown on someone else's photobucket: https://img693.imageshack.us/i/behringer802.jpg/ . Anyways, I have connected my monitors to the main outs, and my headphones to the headphone jack. The main mix level turns my monitor volume up and down, but my headphone volume only works when the main mix volume is up. If I turn it down, I lose my headphone volume, which makes it hard to isolate volumes strictly to headphones... does anyone have any solutions to this? I'd be ecstatic to not have to turn off my monitors every time I wanna do headphone-only recording.
